Bricksmash is a classic game up there with Tetris and Pong, though I don’t know if the name’s as well-known as the game mechanic itself. You have a bouncing ball which you hit with a pad, and the goal is to steer the bouncing ball in to bricks and destroy them. Once you’ve destroyed all your targets the game is over and you’ve won. Simple enough, and I think it’s one of the most played computer games ever.

In Alan Hazelden‘s version BRICK[bricksmash]SMASH every brick has a set of pads, balls and bricks within them, so you’ll need to complete a game of Bricksmash within each brick to destroy it. Do you follow? It will get very hectic and confusing if you try to play every single game inside of the game. You’ll lose the game when you no longer have any balls left in motion, but this game doesn’t shy away from balls and at times you’ll have a lot of balls in play.

I think it’s a fun flash game to play once you have a little time over. My record time right now is 1:49 so try to break that score if you can, and leave a comment if you do.

BRICK[bricksmash]SMASH is bricksmash inside BRICKSMASH.
