E3 Contest: 50+ Steam Titles

As it is the last day of E3 we have deviced  to host a contest with several amazing prizes.

We have watched all of the conferences and written about them. But we would like to hear from you. What was awesome about E3 this year, or did it suck? Was Watch Dogs gameplay all you ever dreamed of?

My favourite part was the DRM war, or how Sony got the best chance ever to get back at Microsoft.

Loopy

Just the thought of growing up to be a cool guy like Bruce Willis. Mind-boggling! This is probably my best work this far. Quite proud of it. Hope you enjoy.

Persson has brought up the Last Airbender again. As you might not know, we have quite different opinions on the qualities of that show. I have submitted to the constant praise, and agreed to give it a try. In exchange, Persson will watch Cowboy Bebop, which by the way is a pure soul.

I have never been a huge fan of Muse. But their latest song, is something else. Entirely. The amount of new music that has found it’s way to my ears lately has been poor to say the least. Probably since I have yet to install Spotify on my new computer. I’m actually quite excited for some new tunes. I’ll probably do it right away.

Meepo. I can’t get my head around this character that quickly takes Alchemists place as the new worst W/L ratio. The amount of micro that is needed to safely guide him to victory is vast to say the least. Being in two, three places at the same time. I would so much like to be good with this ugly little geomancer. But I just can’t seem to figure it out. I thought Chen had a steep learning curve.

I watched the Tintin film the other night. And I was positively surprised. Didn’t expect it to be this good. Although I still don’t like what they did to Hergés style. All animated films have that stupid look to them. It’s the shading and the materials that they put on the characters. It could’ve been simpler. But I guess they did alright, I was able to oversee it in the end.

I am intrigued by Looper, I really don’t know what to expect. I mean, it’s got time-travel and good actors. A director formerly known for Evil Demon Golfball from Hell. Just anything could happen.

And with that, cheers.

Don’t go alone

Pro tip #1

So, yes Dota 2’s got me. Big time. Whenever I get a free hour between work, school, you name it – I’m at it. And before I forget to mention it, I’m not that good. I like to think I am, in a master-mind tactician sort of way. And while at least the ‘mind’ part is true – as far as mindgames are concerned. I would probably be smashed in a real competitive setting.

Speaking of mindgames though. I rememeber a friend of mine telling me about how he used to play bad mindgames on his opponents in basketball. The ones where he made out with the other teams girlfriend the night before the game. In the occasional game of Dota I will tell the other team ‘Pro tips’ when they mess up trying to get the morale to fail. While not as bad, I’m starting to think it might be considered ‘bad sport’.

I saw the Amazing Spider-man, which wasn’t – contrary to what the title might hint – particularly amazing. I was of the impression that when rebooting a series it was to make something better than before. Even though a dozen Batman remakes probably should’ve made me reconsider. It just didn’t even live up to my, rather poor, expectations. With really weird cuts and strangely casted bullies (although not as bad as No. 4). Still I have to admit that there was some good acting in there.

I’ve also seemed to have developed some kind of immunity towards 3D. I can’t see things clearly moving around on the screen. I checked in my bathroom mirror and it seems my left eye lags when focusing. Sort of creepy.

Last, but not the least. I’ve just finished a Dance with Dragons. Which makes me spoiler free, at last. I never have to be nervous as soon as I see, or hear ‘Jon Snow’ or ‘Tyrion’. There were big cliff-hangers in their. And even more in the sneak peak chapter of the Winds. At the prospect of having to wait three or so years till the next book. I’m not too happy.
