Another week, another trip through the clips plucked from the many different internet websites. Here I present to you xx minutes of content for you to use in the lifting of your spirit. Tread lightly, these videos may be safe for work though work will never be safe with absent workers.

FaceMashups: Steve Buscemi & Emma Watson

FaceMashups takes the mouth and voice of a celebrity and put it on another celebrity’s face and make them sync up. In the embedded video we see actor Steve Buscemi’s mouth and voice on Emma Watson’s face. Steve Buscemi whose features has been used in the well-known Buscemi-eyes internet meme. They’ve also done other videos like Will Farrel on Natalie Portman and Taylor Swift on John Mayer, and others.

Neil deGrasse Tyson Is Worried That Humans Are Too Stupid For Aliens

Neil deGrasse Tyson’s videos are spread all over the internet and they are actually quite interesting. As he explains in the video he hosts the great science and geek-culture podcast Star Talk. He will also be the host on an upcoming science television series, COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey.

“Untrust Us” Crystal Castles covered by Capital Children’s Choir

Crystal Castles, if you haven’t heard them, is a chaotic elecronicduo. They can be compared with the more known group The Knife as they have similarities in their music. They wouldn’t be the first band to pop into my head if I were to choose a song for a Children’s Choir to sing, although that’s the brilliance of this video.

1920’s – What The Future Will Look Like

Some hundred year old predictions of the future. One clothing designer actually seems to have a correct answer about the skirt going away and women starting to wear pants. Although most other speculations seems to have overestimated the speed at which society would reach the future.

REZA ASLAN stuns foxnews presenter about his book THE LIFE&TIMES OF JESUS OF NAZARETH

Lastly a little video about the state of the American news channel Fox.

From the depth of the internet I’ve present to you five new videos. This time we have some laughing animals, church fighting, screaming interviewers, tear-jerking surprises, and a trailer. If there’s nothing here for which spikes your interest or makes you smile then you may share your own videos in the comment section below, just mention my name and everything should go great.

Girl Makes Dolphin Laugh.

Sometimes all you need to make you laugh is something unusual I guess. This girl making some ridiculous moves in-front of the aquarium really sticks out.

(I’m having so much trouble embedding non-youtube videos into WordPress)

Best of Street Fighter II “Best of Church Edition” Starring Benny Hinn

The Street Fighter sounds on their own can make me laugh, but here being successfully combined with some exorcism brings it to the next level.

Billy on the Street Lightning Round: Name 3 White People and More!

A camera behind a screaming man with a microphone could make anyone panic, and panic might result in some funny and unusual answers.

MACH 1 Surprise

A son giving his father a present for his birthday. This made me quite emotional for some reason. It’s just such a nice present

The Legend of Korra – Book 2 Trailer

I’m a big fan of the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra. Even-though I might have thought the ending for the first season of Korra lacked a bit this trailer made me a bit excited for the new season.

CLiP TRiP

Time for yet another collection of videos for your amusement. I hope you’ll like these as well, there’s almost a music themed post this week but some jokes and a how it should have ended video got in the way. Perhaps there’s a better version out there in some other universe that only publishes themed CLiP TRiPs.

Hey you! What song are you listening to? Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Simple idea which probably took a lot of time. I don’t know polish people all that well though I presume there were more failed attempts than successful ones. Also being set in Poland I think gives it something extra, I watch a video that featured speech in my own language and knowing what people say as they are picking up their music-devises somehow ruins the experience. And this video has a much higher quality than most other What song are you listening to videos.

Green Day @ Emirates Stadium – Crowd singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody. 01.06.13

This is beautiful, a great song that I also always sings along to every time I hear it. If you don’t please write a comment and describe to me what kind of a coffin you sleep in at night.

Telling People Corny Jokes

One, seeing people have to go out of their automatic routine to interact with a stranger is pretty interesting to see. Two, if that stranger then tells them corny jokes that range from funny to lame, you have two great things that fit perfectly together. Also what’s up with the woman who didn’t know the ketchup-joke, was she just playing along? If you know this woman who I’m referencing, or if you are this woman, please write in and tell me how big the rock which you sleep under is.

What it’s really like to work at a music store pt.II

Every time I visit a music store I feel ill at ease because it’s a public place and my musicianship is often contained to my bedroom. If you’re looking to buy a new instrument, and want to try it out, the harsh eyes of a music store manager might not be the kind of eyes you want in your head judging your music skills. They always feel a bit tired and grumpy and also have an aura of superiority. Well this video surely explains why this is.

How Man Of Steel Should Have Ended

If you got yourself spoiled by watching this then don’t blame it on me. If the videos titled How Man of Steel Should Have ENDED then I’m not held responsible for your stupidity. But then if you got yourself spoiled this might keep you from watching this rather bad, highly forgettable and boring movie (though I thought the up-close melee fighting looked good).

CLiP TRiP

A new weekly feature where I shall return every Wednesday with a new collection of videos I’ve found somewhere on the internet. Five new videos filled with humor, cuteness or otherwise interesting events. Let’s begin shall we!

Self siphoning beads

In the first CLiP of the feature we’ll see Steve Mould with a jar filled with a string of metal beads. When he grabs one end of the string and drops it outside of the jar something amazing happens.

If you liked this video as much as I did there’s also another video named “Amazing bead chain experiment in slow motion” by Earth Unplugged where they film the process with a slow motion camera. They also go into what happens a little bit more in detail than Steve himself did in his 35 seconds long YouTube video. See Earth Unplugged’s

Bubble Football Algund

Bubble Sport is a new sport from Germany which seem to be football with a twist. The twist being a 10 kg heavy and 1,8 meters wide inflatable ball which you wear. This ball keeps you safe as you slam your body into the opposing players. From the website (which is in German) it’s seems like your able to purchase these balls or rent them for your own use.

A massive fly invades the studio

During BBC One’s The Gramham Norton Show a special secret guest gets on stage. The giant fly creates quite an educational discussion on insect murdering and eating. Other less notable guests on stage are Steve Carell (The Office US), Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids) and Chris O’Dowd (The IT Crowd).

Cambridge Parkour POV

Parkour is an extreme sport which is clearly here to stay. In this video we get to see the awe-inspiring movements the parkour performer from their own viewpoint. I can’t help but see the similarities between this video and EA’s parkour action game Mirror’s Edge.

Clear History Tease 2

It’s not a secret that I’m a HUGE Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm fan. Seinfeld is I think the most successful sit-com of all time, co-created by stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. Larry David left the show after its seventh season and in 1999 started a new sit-com on HBO called Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Clear History is an up-coming HBO film co-written by Larry David which will be released in August.

At a 7-eleven, 2:30 am in 1987

As I’m writing this it’s late Tuesday the 4th of June, and I’ve just seen one of the best documentaries in my life. I was sitting by my computer looking through my collection of RSS-feeds when I fell over it at One Cool Thing a Day, and now after seeing it I don’t know what to do with myself. I had planned to just check off all the unread stories and then watch Following but now I don’t want to. All I want to do is just sit here in my chair with my coffee and think over what I just watched. It made me reflect on myself, my time and space, giving me a view of a greater world so that I can critic the faults of my own.

So it’s this short goofy movie from 1987’s Florida. A gang of friends has gone in to a 7-eleven with a camera and are just filming the store and interviewing the customers. I think it’s the most charming, sincere and funniest un-constructed nine minutes of what’s essentially nothing, I’ve ever seen.

I often times don’t tread too far into the comments of Youtube, because I know I won’t find anything of value down there. But in this case where else could I have gone? And I think that l33tshoe put it best when he said “this is so weird seeing perfect strangers talking to each other. in 2013 its WHAT U LOOKIN AT FAGET”. As I was watching this I thought, oh I want to live in america or somewhere else than in super-introvert Sweden. But l33tshoe’s a canadian (we’re both socialist-scums (kidding ofc) with cold climates) and if it’s the same there as here then I’m probably all out of luck. But should I have to flee? Who doesn’t want to live in this utopia?

Judging myself I’m not the most conversational guy in the world, and I’m probably closest to the Mexicans who mostly ignores them and try to get away from them, then to any of the other characters. Yet I know people who are worse of than me. I feel bad for using his name so often because I know it’s funny that I picked a stupid comment off of Youtube and in someway I feel like I’m lessening Chris Iller’s “2:30am at a 7-11 near Disney World – 1987” for it, but I think that the l33tshoe observation of his surroundings through this nine minute documentary is the perfect evidence that this is a movie which will effect people. And it doesn’t critic the current age, instead it shows you something more, and let’s you critic it yourself. It’s an ageless piece of the world which can be appreciated throughout the ages.

I don’t want to sound like I’m looking back upon a time and feeling some nostalgia and a want to convert back into that era. It most defiantly had it’s problems. But I want to go back to that place during that time, or rather I want that place and that time’s energy and nativity in my everyday life.

The film is available over at Youtube, and I highly encourage you to see it. Although if anyone reads this they’ll probably watch the movie too so, I hope you LOVE IT as much as I do.
